Swedish Midsummer Party in New York

UPDATE!: We have a last minute update for you. Usually we like to start our Midsummer parties at 9pm, but this year we had to negotiate a little bit with Pachita to get the extra hour. Yesterday afternoon we finally got confirmation that we can open the doors at 9pm instead of 10pm. We apologize for the last minute switcheroo.
This also means the complimentary cider from Kopparberg will be served from 9pm onwards. They have provided us with even more of their lovely product today, so we expect it to last for the first hour of the event.
Late night entry at $20 From 1am onwards we will be offering reduced admission of $20 to enter the event. The party will go to 4-5am, so there is still plenty of time to party.
Three Live Performances We have three live acts. Hera Bjork, Iceland's Eurovision Song Contest contestant 2010, Anine Stang, a Norwegian rising star we know you will hear a lot more of soon, and Alcazar, the Euro-disco dance trio that has had global success with songs such as "Crying at the discotheque". The first performance should start around 11:30.
On summer solstice this year, we welcome you and your friends to join us (Thomas, Martin & Emilia) to celebrate our 9th annual Swedish Midsummer Party here in New York. We are particularly excited about this years event, which will be held at Pachita, the private penthouse space within the legendary Club Pacha. We have some very special guests performing for us, the Swedish Disco/Eurodance group Alcazar, which we expect will deliver the best Midsummer show till date. We also expect a very special guest whose identity we cannot yet release :)

Pachita is a club with lots of flair. It has all the plush seating we like (not just for the VIPs) and still plenty of space for dancing, which we like even more. It is an open space so we can feel like one big, happy party family and it has got an ample outside smoking area for you who didn’t move over to snus yet. But…there is a downside to every fabulous upside and in this case it is space. We can only fit 500 of you. For this reason we really want to emphasize advance ticket sales if you want guaranteed admission.
